new keys
I haven't been very good at keeping this updated! Life has been quite dynamic for me. As I was keying into the office on Wednesday, I realized that in the last two weeks I have replaced every key on my keychain. I replaced my Honda with a 2003 Suzuki Aerio. I love my new car! It drives so smoothly, and even has a cd player. I'll try to avoid any deer I see in the future :-) Mike has a picture of it on his website. Since I still haven't unpacked my USB cable, no pictures for me for now!
Key number two is my house key. I just moved into a great old house with a girl named Judy Narvaez and her giant dog Rudy. Judy works as a research faculty member in a biology lab at Notre Dame, where she studies the effects of vitamin D on breast cancer. She's the first person who has ever told me, from a scientific standpoint, that it is good to go out in the sun without sunblock, for at least a bit every day. Judy seems really great, and her house is really cool. I plan to finish moving my stuff in on Monday.
And finally, LicketyShip now has an office! We will be working out of 303 Cushing Hall on campus, at least until the end of the summer. We are moving forward - had a huge article written in the Elkhart Truth last week, and just started out first paid advertising with the South Bend Tribune online yesterday. By the middle of next week, we will have our name plastered on their website! Traffic is picking up and sales are trickling in. We have, however, decided to ramp up our expansion schedule to move to Chicago by the end of this summer. Our service is a lttle more geared toward the big-city attitude, and Chicago will provide us with a bigger market base.
